Aperi all’opera – Premio Giuseppina Vitali

On Saturday, October 12th, the second edition of the Liric Prize Giuseppina Vitali will be staged, named after the famous Cerretese soprano who lived between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, when it was acclaimed protagonist in the most prestigious theaters of Europe. The format, called Aperi at the Opera, will take place as usual at the Casanova Theater in Cerreto d’Esi, with entrance and buffet at 7.30 pm, start of the concert scheduled at around 9 pm and final prize-giving around 11 pm. Six Academy students competing from four countries: the baritone Giuseppe Toia and the soprano Ginevra Gentile from Italy, the mezzo-soprano Anastasia Pirogova from Russia, the soprano Arsine Zargaryan from Armenia and finally from Georgia the tenor Anzor Pilia and the mezzo-soprano Magda Chichiashvili. The musical accompaniment to the piano that will be entrusted to Maestro Claudia Foresi, teacher at the Lyric Academy of Osimo and former lecturer at the Teatro alla Scala Academy in Milan as well as, currently, Maestro Collaboratore at the Macerata Sferisterio Opera Festival and at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona.
