During the 2026–2027 academic year, masterclasses will be organized—conducted by Academy faculty and guest instructors—according to a schedule to be announced by December 10, 2026. Applications for one or more masterclasses may be submitted from that date until the deadline of January 7, 2027. Admission will be determined online based on three video-recorded arias—produced within the last six months—which the candidate must submit as attachments to the application form. The pieces must be by different composers and performed in the original language; at least one piece must be in Italian. For each aria, the title, the names of the performing singer and pianist, and the recording date must be specified.
The selection committee, chaired by the Artistic Director and composed of Academy faculty, will evaluate the submitted recordings and—making a final, binding decision—assess the candidates’ suitability, drawing up a list of those admitted to the masterclasses and a ranking of qualified candidates.
