Born in London, she studied piano, harpsichord and voice at the Royal College of Music, and as a post graduate répétiteur in the R.C.M. ” Opera School . ” She has been teaching at the Academy of Lyric Art in Osimo since 1988 and was, for ten years, a teacher and pianist in the Walton Foundation master classes and concerts in Ischia. She has also been a pianist and coach at the Britten – Pears School in Aldeburgh. She was a guest teacher in the Solti Peretti master classes for pianists. She has performed as an accompanist in some the most prestigious concert halls and theatres in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. As a répétiteur she has worked with many theatres, including the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the “Piccolo Teatro”, Milan, the Glyndebourne Festival, the “Teatro Verdi”, Trieste, the ” Teatro Massimo”, Palermo, the ” Petruzzelli ” Bari, the “Opéra Nationale” in Bordeaux”, Radio France and Radio Suisse. She has also participated in numerous international tours in France, Germany, Greece, Spain, Japan, Russia and China.
