Vincenzo De Vivo

Vincenzo De Vivo, born in Salerno in 1957, has held management and advisory positions at European musical institutions since 1982: Adjunto to Intendant of the Palau de les Arts,Valencia; Artistic Director of the Rome Opera, the Teatro Comunale, Bologna and the Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte, Montepulciano; Artistic Consultant of the Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa and the Teatro Comunale, Treviso; Consultant for symphonic-vocal activities for the Rome RAI Orchestra; Assistant to the Artistic Director Teatro San Carlo, Naples; Director of artistic organization at the Teatro La Fenice, Venice; Administrative advisor to the Board of Directors of the Academy Chigiana, Siena. He has also collaborated with RAI, the SDR (Radio – Television of Stuttgart) and the Schwetzingen Festspiele for radio, television and video. He is Artistic Director of the Accademia d’Arte Lirica , Osimo. He is a lecturer on the Advanced course of Music Management at Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. He has held courses and seminars at L’Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo, Teatro alla Scala, L’Ateneo della lirica, Sulmona, at the theatres of Treviso and L’Accademia Rodolfo Celletti, Martina Franca. He is on the jury of many international competitions. He has published studies about eighteenth and nineteenth century Italian Opera, written librettti for Dall’Ongaro, Ferrero, Rendine, Dryers and Italian rhythmic versions for works of Bizet, Mozart, Offenbach, J. Strauss jr.
