Poets and musicians have often worked together for large-scale projects: operas, cantatas, choral compositions. But even more often they found themselves working together for short and intense compositions, intended for a wider audience than the one that filled theaters and concert halls: the songs. “When poetry becomes song” is the title of the concert that is scheduled at the Biblioteca Antonelliana in Senigallia, Saturday 7 September, 9.30 pm.
Yuliya Poleshchuk and Anzor Pilia, soloists of the Accademia d’Arte Lirica of Osimo, will be busy, with the pianist Valeria Picardi, in a very lively program that from the romanza from living room, of which Francesco Paolo Tosti is the most famous author (su verses of poets like D’Annunzio, Salvatore Di Giacomo and Lorenzo Stecchetti – pseudonym of Olindo Guerrini), he goes on to the Neapolitan song (with Di Giacomo acting as a tamer), and he crosses in France by Francis Poulenc and Anouihl, in Weill’s Germany and Fernay, to end with the most emblematic figure of the Italian song, Lucio Dalla, and his famous song Caruso.
The concert is part of the events of the Patrimonio in scena project – For the dissemination of the live show in the Cultural Institutes of the Marche, promoted by the Consorzio Marche Spettacolo: fruit of the deepening of the collaboration between the live show and the other cultural institutions of the region, starting from museums, archives and libraries, the initiative includes twelve events open to the public, in twelve cultural Institutes spread throughout the region, from May to December 2019.
