Salotto d’Europa

On Sunday  March 31st at 5.30 pm in Osimo, Teatrino Campana, the soloists of the Accademia d’Arte Lirica, with the pianist Harriet Lawson, will be involved in a program of Italian, French, German, English and Russian chamber songs and duets, collected under the title “Living room of Europe”.

Five languages are the terrain of this important challenge for the young singers of the Osiman Academy, which are measured by some great authors, who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries: from Rossini and Schubert to Britten and Poulenc. The program touches the heart of European Romanticism with Brahms and Schumann, travels to Russia by Tchaikovskij and Rachmaninov, returns to the France of Massenet and Saint-Saëns proceeding towards Debussy and Ravel. There is no lack of Tosti’s romances, active between Rome and London, and the ironic songs of Satie.
