Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at 9.15 pm at the Associazione Amici della Musica “Arturo e Flavio Clementoni” of Potenza Picena, the soloists of the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo and the pianist Alessandro Benigni will perform in the concert entitled “The charm of melodrama “. Music by Italian and French composers will be proposed. The heart of the program is occupied by the works of Giuseppe Verdi, with arias taken from Macbeth, Luisa Miller and Rigoletto. Followed by authors of the late nineteenth century: Giacomo Puccini with La Bohème, Umberto Giordano with Andrea Chènier and Arrigo Boito with Mephistopheles. A look also goes to the French composers: Jacques Offenbach with Les contes d’Hoffmann, Camille Saint-Saëns with Samson et Dalila and George Bizet with his immortal Carmen.
