Friday 26 June at 9.15 pm the concert activity of the soloists of the Academy of Lyric Art will resume in the suggestive setting of the Cloister of San Francesco di Osimo. A billboard of summer events, organized by the Municipality of Osimo, to give the opportunity to return to making live music after the lockdown period.
Respect for the current government provisions – distancing and prevention measures – will put the public and executors at ease, united by the same emotions.
Our young soloists and pianist Alessandro Benigni will open the show with “Opera in Concert”. An opera program, which starts from Mozart and, through Rossini and Donizetti, reaches Verdi, touching three great French authors: Bizet, Gounod, Massenet. It starts with a quartet from Don Giovanni and reaches the quartet of Rigoletto. In between duets from funny operas – Bruschino and Don Pasquale – and arias from the masterpieces of French romanticism – Carmen, Faust, Manon – and from Verdi’s operas – Ernani, Il Corsaro, Trovatore.
