Master class at the Academy of Lyric Art in Osimo

Lyric Art Academy offers a series of master classes with some of the teachers of the historic Osiman institution. The first, in the week of 20 to 25 January, was entrusted to Ernesto Palacio, the Peruvian tenor famous for the interpretation of Rossini and Mozartian roles, who is currently the Superintendent of the Rossini Opera Festival of Pesaro and director of the Rossini Academy “Alberto Zedda “: an intense and productive week of study, in which Italian and Polish artists took part, in addition to the students of the academic two-year period. Maestro Palacio will return to Osimo from 23 to 27 March for a second masterclass. The calendar includes other appointments. From 3 to 7 February, and from 16 to 20 March, the pianist Enza Ferrari, a reference point for the training of singers and substitute teachers in numerous American universities, educational institutions and Italian theaters, including the Municipal of Florence and the Milan staircase. Then, from 10 to 14 February and from 6 to 10 April, it will be the turn of William Matteuzzi, the tenor who, after an extraordinary international career, has dedicated himself to teaching in Germany, Japan and Italy. From February 17th to February 21st, and from May 4th to May 8th, Anna Vandi will dedicate herself to young singers, with the experience gained by sharing with Renata Scotto the teaching at the Opera Studio of the Academy of Santa Cecilia. From 24 to 28 February, and from 30 March to 3 April, it will be up to Harriet Lawson, an internationally renowned teacher and pianist, an important reference especially for chamber music and the symphonic-vocal repertoire, while from 2 to 6 March, and from ’11 May to 15 May, it will be the turn of the artistic director of the Vincenzo de Vivo Academy. Finally, from 25 to 29 May, he will be a guest of the Raina Kabaivanska Academy, an honorary citizen of Osimo.
