The concept of music for the new generations is narrowing to the sounds emitted by electronic equipment (such as speakers, headphones, etc.), making us forget the “acoustic” dimension of the human voice and live instruments and even more the vibration it represents the path of rhythmic-musical communication with those with hearing impairments. In fact, the experience – by those who regularly attend musical activities, as performer or as a simple spectator – of making music and listening to it in the conditions of those who have sensory deficits is not widespread. The OLTRE L’ASCOLTO project, promoted by the ACADEMY OF LYRIC ART in Osimo (AN) – in collaboration with the Lega del Filo d’Oro – which involves the Homer Museum of Ancona, is precisely in this direction. the collaboration of the Oltre Oltre Ancona Association and the support of the Cariverona Foundation. Music workshops – involving some Lega guests and young singers from the Academy – and a cycle of musical encounters open to the public are planned. The first scheduled musical meeting will take place on February 5, at 5.30 pm, in Osimo, in the multipurpose room of the National Center of the Lega del Filo d’Oro, in Via Linguette 3: the soloists of the Academy of Lyric Art, with the pianist Valeria Picardi they will offer a program of arias, duets and songs. The initiative focuses on the relationship between musical culture and disability and its potential for training, inclusion and awareness. The dates of the meetings scheduled: February 5, February 26, March 18 and April 22, always at the National Center of the Gold Wire League. Admission is free.
