A concert between music and poetry, based on the figure of Dante Alighieri, will involve the soloists of the Academy of Lyric Art of Osimo on Sunday 1 December at 6.00 pm at the Museum of the Arts of the Press in Jesi. The title of the concert “Dante in Musica” promises a varied program ranging from the chamber music of the twentieth century authors – Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco and Domenico Alaleona – and the nineteenth century – Ciro Pinsuti, who sets the famous sonnet “Tanto gentile e so honest it seems ”- to the pages of the operas Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi and Riccardo Zandonai. Of great interest are the compositions that sing the verses of Dante from Vita Nova and from the Divine Comedy. The program is completed by some arias from operas inspired by Dante’s poem, where the protagonists are Francesca da Rimini, Cunizza da Romano and Pia de ‘Tolomei. With the pianist Valeria Picardi there will be six young soloists, coming from Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The concert is part of the events of the Patrimonio in scena project – For the dissemination of the live show in the Cultural Institutes of the Marche, promoted by the Consorzio Marche Spettacolo: fruit of the deepening of the collaboration between the live show and the other cultural institutions of the region, starting from museums, archives and libraries, the initiative includes twelve events open to the public, in twelve cultural Institutes spread throughout the region, from May to December 2019.
