On Sunday the 22nd of April at 17:30 in the theatre of Osimo il Teatro La Nuova Fenice, the concert “I Canti della loro Terra” (“The chants of their land”) will take place. This concert will the featuring the twenty-five soloists of the Accademy, coming from Armenia, Australia, Azerbajan, Georgia, Japan, Kazakistan, Russia, Turkey, Ucraine and Italy, accompanied on the piano by Mirca Rosciani. At the event the dancers of the Centro Formazione Danza of Simona Apostol will perform as well. “I Canti della loro Terra” is a celebration dedicated to the folklore of the various nations. It features an endearing program of popular songs and melodies of some known composers than have drawn on the national heritage of their countries. It is an occasion to discover rythms and chants from different national cultures. Through the popular music of these countries where the young singers come from, the Accademia D’Arte lirica di Osimo continues the pluriannual tradition to remember the international calling of a formative institution known in the whole world.
